vmProcessStrobe

vmProcessStrobe enables VMware power users and administrators to view, kill, and run processes in virtual machines with an easy to use GUI (Graphical User Interface) that runs natively on Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. In addition to the list of running processes, a strobe of each selected virtual machine’s GUI is also presented in regular intervals for easy visual monitoring of virtual machine activity.

• Check your virtual machines for an application or service / daemon that should be running
• Execute or stop an application on any number of virtual machines
• Simultaneously run an application across all your server’s virtual machines
• Etc.

vmProcessStrobe will be available in three Editions:

- The Personal Edition of vmProcessStrobe is free. It’s limited to viewing processes in one virtual machine at a time and intended for hobbyists and anyone that wants to give it a try before buying the Professional Edition or Enterprise Edition.

- The Professional Edition of vmProcessStrobe will view, kill, and run processes in any number of virtual machines and servers and have additional features beneficial to anyone dealing with multiple virtual machines on a regular basis.

- The Enterprise Edition of vmProcessStrobe will support even more features for managing many virtual machines on many servers.

A detailed listing of the features in each Edition, along with licensing and pricing, will be posted soon so that it is easy to compare the three Editions and determine which one best suits your needs.

Whatever the number of local virtual machines or however large the network of VMware servers (vCenter, ESXi, ESX, Server, etc.), vmProcessStrobe will ease your monitoring and management of the processes in those virtual machines.
